Step 1:
    Start by sketching four different sized oblong shapes and position them like below.

    Step 2:
    You can see in sample 2 why the four oblong shapes were used.  This is our guide and we want to work within it.

    Step 3:
    We now need to start adding detail by sketching in the feathers, see below:

    Step 4:
    Now draw around the rooster in a darker tone and tweak it until you see fit and erase any unwanted lines.

    Step 5:
    Now for the fun part, color it in however you like.
